Job Title: Accounts Manager

Humboldt Growers Network is seeking an Accounts Manager to become part of a dynamic team of hardworking individuals. We pride ourselves in our compliance, professionalism and passion for the cannabis industry. The Accounts Manager is the glue that holds it together.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized Accounts Manager, who is familiar with the cannabis industry, to help distribute our product. The Accounts Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of account-specific, sales strategies in order to achieve sales growth in accordance with company objectives. Ideal candidates will have industry specific knowledge, connections and awareness of current laws.

Duties and Responsibilities

As account manager, you'll be responsible for supervising and scheduling a team of four, insuring shipping and fulfillment needs are met, conducting sales reports, developing standard operating procedures and recording metrics of company progress. We are looking for someone who is relatively tech savvy and willing to learn new systems and procedures.


  • Maintain, develop and advance standard operating procedures.

  • Schedule and supervise a team of 4.

  • Execute payroll function for immediate team.

  • Track shipments and maintain excellent reports of incoming and outgoing shipping.

  • Record performance metrics and provide reports to senior management


  • Must pass a background check

  • Have a rudimentary understanding and awareness of California Cannabis laws.

  • Cannabis Industry experience preferred.

  • Be accountable,  self-motivated, and customer focused.

  • Possess strong time management and follow-up skills; highly organized and detail oriented

  • Accountable for results, strives to meet and exceed expectations

  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation) & a good sense of humor.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and collaborate on projects


  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • 2-3 years of accounts receivable experience in credit and collections

  • Track and Trace Experience

  • Proficient knowledge  of QuickBooks


  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or 5 years relevant experience.

  • Clean driving record and be eligible to acquire an enhanced license.  


40 hours/week

Full time


$60,000 - $80,000 a year (DOE)
